CRM learning reflection
I started this program with the goal of learning more about CRM. While the program was centered on Hubspot and Salesforce, I believe it provided the fundamentals on Customer Relationship Management in general, and as such prepared us regardless of the specific CRM software we will be using in the future.
One key takeaway for the program was that I needed to look beyond CRM as software. As a marketing professional, understanding the customer journey and how he/she progress throughout the marketing funnel is essential, as strategies would differ depending of where the buyer is.
I also liked the fact that the program went in depth about CRM automation. I believe that while we only worked on Hubspot, we are now understand CRM automation which will be useful regardless of the CRM software we may use in the future.
Having completed previously a data analytics program, I didn't find the data analytics part of the program too difficult as it was less technical compared to what I was previously exposed to. Also many of the courses taken were a refresher for me due to previous studies.
Overall, I found the program well balanced, with both individual work for personal performance, and group work that aligns with what to expect in the workplace. I am confident it was time and money well spent, and I would recommend to anyone looking to further their career in marketing, to consider this program.
